PJ: I’ve always admired Bruce Lee, who said, “Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put it into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friends.” After being immersed in hip-hop culture, I find this idea closely aligned with its core principles. Hustlers are like water; they have the ability to adapt and thrive within their environment, no matter how challenging it becomes. They won’t be knocked down—they keep pushing forward for themselves, their families, and their crew.

MK: As a fan of Kanye West, I believe he embodies this philosophy too. He not only adapted to hip-hop culture but also injected his own crazy ideas into it. The first time I listened to his album Graduation, I was blown away! It was unlike any rap I had ever heard—completely mind-blowing! His production, lyrics, and style set him apart from everyone else. Then there are My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Yeezus… those ideas are just too crazy!
